Cannes film festival 08 update

If you've never been to the cannes film festival it is quite insane: tens of thousands of people come to town for the biggest film festival in the world: 60% of the worlds film business is done in 2 weeks which is why if you've got film business to do you've got to be there!
Rob and I have been 4 times but you still don't get used to it: we were focused as mentioned in previous news with one of our feature films " the insatiable moon ". We had several very good meetings and a few that made you wonder if this is the right industry for you but hey thats cannes!
Our New Zealand writer and co producer had flown over which is a loooong way so we made the best of the time we had.
The project has certainly moved forward significantly and once all the final elements have been agreed we are hopeful of a Jan 09 shoot in New Zealand.
